40’s-50’s
This is when serums/essences come in handy PLUS a good night CREAM. By the way, serum=essence, in case anyone was confused. Using a wrinkle targeting serum will do wonders for your skin. Something like Shiseido Super Corrective Serum works well. (They claim you can see visible results within one week and major results in 3 weeks.) When you get to 40’s, wrinkle serums work towards wrinkles AND hydration AND skin elasticity, so it would make more sense to buy it in your 40s instead of 30s. Some 30’s people could have some pretty intense wrinkles (whether because it’s hereditary, due to smoking, or due to excess exposure to the sun)…so that’s why they might NEED the serum in order to get that extra help they WANT.

The mid to late 40s is also the beginning of when hormones start to go crazy, making you and your skin more cranky. (Menopause…EVERY woman will go through it…i witnessed my mom and some teachers go through it…it’s not pretty). Start using something that will help with the stress. Shiseido has something that’s great for hormonal control for your skin. They have their new NutriPerfect line. It’s specified to attack anything due to hormone changes. It has gotten many good reviews at our store. My mom’s personal favorite is the NutriPerfect eye serum. She swears by it and makes sure that its one of her best sellers, or else she just simply would not be happy. Clarins super restorative creams are also ideal for ages 40+ because it helps with hormonal changes and wrinkles too. When you get to your 50s, try switching up your toner to something that’s thicker and more hydrating. Clarins Super Restorative Wake up Lotion and Shiseido’s Nutriperfect Softener are ideal toners.

At this stage, you want to find your ideal night cream. I personally think that Shiseido comes out with amazing wrinkle attacking creams. I always witness great results on customers. However, in order to find your ideal night cream, you have to go to your beauty consultant. They will be the ones who will diagnose the best product for you.
**** I know I seem biased because I’m only talking about Shiseido and Clarins, but that’s because I know those two companies’s products the best. It’s not my place to talk about other companies’s products because I haven’t used, seen or tested any of their products. ****
